Job Description As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical support to ensure the efficient operation of our Monroe location and float to other central locations. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management and communicate with accuracy, quality, and timeliness. Responsibilities Taking and recording vital signs and EKGs. Preparing patients for examinations. Obtaining and updating patient medication lists and administering injections. Authorizing prescription refills as directed by physicians. Using EMR, rooming patients, and performing clerical work as needed. Willingness to travel to other locations. Requirements Medical Assistant Certification required. Proven working experience as a medical assistant. Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures. Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills.
