Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and established goals
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to support resident rehabilitation and daily living goals
• Educate residents and family members on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Current COTA certification through NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
• Active Florida state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Ability to work 5 days per week on a day shift schedule
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a senior living, long-term care, or skilled nursing environment
• Experience with geriatric patient populations and age-related conditions
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
