CyBerJaz, a family-owned and operated technology management company, has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate IT professional to join our team as a Technology Alignment Specialist.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to build broad, real-world IT knowledge. Because CyBerJaz supports many different small and midsized organizations, you will work with an enormous variety of technology—not just one company, one network, or one specialized area of IT.

You will gain hands-on experience with nearly every type of technology commonly used by modern businesses, including workstations, servers, networks, firewalls, wireless systems, cloud services, Microsoft 365, backup and disaster recovery solutions, cybersecurity tools, business applications, and vendor-managed systems.

Unlike a traditional reactive support position, most of this work is scheduled, structured, and proactive. You will have time to understand how systems work together, thoroughly inspect client environments, document your findings, and identify risks before they become outages or emergencies.

About the Position

As a Technology Alignment Specialist, you will develop and maintain detailed technical knowledge of assigned client environments. You will conduct structured technology reviews, compare each environment against established standards, identify risks and improvement opportunities, maintain accurate documentation, and complete approved technical work.

You will become a trusted technical resource for your assigned clients while working closely with CyBerJaz’s Standards and Compliance team.

This position will give you the opportunity to:

• Work with a broad range of technologies across many different business environments.
• Understand how individual technologies work together as part of a complete business environment.
• Gain experience in systems, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, backups, business applications, and vendor solutions.
• Develop stronger troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and client-management skills.
• Learn from experienced IT professionals while performing structured, scheduled work instead of constantly responding to emergencies.

If you are technically curious and enjoy understanding how things work, this position offers a variety of hands-on experience that would be difficult to gain in a traditional internal IT role.
