Street Maintenance Worker

Overview The City of Conover is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Street Maintenance Worker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and takes pride in maintaining the infrastructure that keeps our city running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform manual labor, including concrete work, asphalt work, grade work, and truck driving. Endure heavy physical labor in various weather conditions throughout the year. Apply general construction knowledge, including tools, materials, and equipment used in construction and maintenance work. Experience with farm or grounds maintenance activities and implements is preferred. Possess strong customer service communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Qualifications General construction experience is preferred. The candidate should be able to work in a team and maintain a customer-focused approach.
