Systems Security Engineer

To support a growing global company, the full-time remote Systems Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure solutions across Windows and Linux environments while leading advanced security engineering initiatives. Key responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain security controls across diverse platforms Manage and optimize firewall infrastructure and Web Application Firewall solutions Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments Required qualifications: 8+ years of professional IT experience with 5+ years in security engineering Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Expert experience with Windows Server and Linux Hands-on expertise with Check Point, Cisco, and FortiGate firewalls Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
