We’re hiring a Mechanical Assembler for our Houston, TX client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
- Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
- Location: Northwest Houston
- Pay: $20.82–$22.58/hr
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, overtime required based on workload.
- Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Description of Duties:
Assemble and test enclosed drive gearboxes and mechanical components. Read assembly blueprints and use calipers and measuring tools. Record measurements and production information accurately. Troubleshoot assembly and testing issues and make necessary corrections. Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all HSE procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or related manufacturing experience. Must be able to read assembly blueprints and have strong mechanical aptitude. Material handling experience required; forklift experience is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the shift. Must be available for overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
