Material Handler

Location: Mount Olive, NJ
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $22.71-$24.53/hr

Available Shifts

1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM ($22.71/hr)
2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM ($24.07/hr)
3rd Shift: Sun-Thurs, 11:00 PM-7:30 AM ($24.53/hr)

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Move, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and maintain FIFO inventory
• Use SAP and computerized inventory systems
• Weigh, label, sample, and transfer materials as needed
• Conduct equipment inspections and follow safety procedures

Qualifications

• Warehouse or material handling experience
• Forklift and electric pallet jack experience
• Inventory control and cycle count experience
• Experience using computerized inventory systems (SAP preferred)
• Ability to read/write English and perform basic math
• Manufacturing, chemical, food, or pharmaceutical experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Ability to handle 55-gallon drums and heavy materials using material handling equipment
