Client Hotels & Resorts, the world's largest hotel franchisor with more than 9,000 properties across 95+ countries, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager – Architectural Design to support its Design & Construction team. This role is ideal for an experienced architectural professional with a strong background in hospitality design, commercial architecture, and project management who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Senior Manager – Architectural Design Responsibilities

• Review architectural plans, specifications, and design submissions for franchise renovations, new construction, and conversion hotel projects.
• Conduct Property Improvement Plan (PIP) site visits and prepare detailed PIP documentation aligned with brand standards.
• Manage multiple hospitality development projects simultaneously at various stages of execution.
• Provide conceptual architectural designs and renovation solutions for hotel properties and prototype developments.
• Collaborate with franchisees, consultants, and internal departments to ensure compliance with Design & Construction standards.
• Develop renderings, sketches, diagrams, and presentation materials using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Revit.
• Oversee junior team members, consultants, interns, or temporary staff while improving team workflows and documentation processes.
• Perform construction site visits to verify compliance with approved plans, fixture placement, and prototype standards.
• Support prototype plan updates, specification manuals, and operational design initiatives across multiple hotel brands.

Senior Manager – Architectural Design Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• 8–10 years of experience in commercial architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, SketchUp, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality architecture, renovation planning, and construction documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and make independent, time-sensitive decisions.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Architecture licensure preferred.
• Experience with hospitality, multifamily, or retail development projects.
• Experience producing architectural renderings and visual presentations.
