Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental and emotional states to understand their needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments and client consultations.

• Provide individual therapy to clients of all ages, addressing diverse topics such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions to aid in relationship enhancement, communication strategies, and conflict resolution.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans to align with clients' evolving goals and track progress effectively.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, including therapy notes, treatment plans, and case histories, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, providing immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress.

• Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaborations to enhance the comprehensive care provided to clients.

• Stay current in the field by attending professional development workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

• Advocate for clients, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their therapeutic processes and personal well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples from varied backgrounds. Your ability to empathize and adapt therapeutic approaches to cater to the unique circumstances of each client is vital in fostering a trusting and effective therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active LMFT licensure by the State of Texas is required.

• Strong background in providing individual and/or couples therapy, with a deep understanding of therapeutic techniques and interventions.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to navigate electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience providing therapy to individuals and couples.

Compensation and Benefits\n
