Exciting Opportunity for an ED RN!

Job Description:


- Shift: 18:00 - 06:00
- Location: McKinney, TX
- Unit: Main ED & PBED
- Start Date: ASAP
- Ideal Candidate:
- HCA/Meditech experience
- Quick start date
- Minimal PTO requests

Unit Information:


- Number of Beds: 37 bed, L2 Trauma
- Number of Staff: 73 FTE
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 in zone

Staffing:


- Day Shift:
- 1 charge, 7 RNs, 2 Techs/Paramedics
- 5 mid-shift RNs, 2 mid-shift techs
- Night Shift:
- 1 charge, 7 RNs, 2 Techs/Paramedics
- 5 mid-shift RNs, 2 mid-shift techs

Equipment & Technology:


- Type of Equipment: GE Monitors
- EMR: MediTech

Candidate Skill Set:


- Must have:
- High caliber patient experience skills
- Preferred or Nice to Have:
- Experience in typical ED procedures

Personality Fit:


- High energy
- Self-motivated
- Amicable

Required Certifications:


- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC

Floating Area:


- ED patients admitted to hospital holding in ED

Dress Code:


- Scrub Color/Attire: Royal Blue top and bottom

Work Schedule:


- Weekends:
- 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
- On Call:
- No call
