PURPOSE:

The Domestic Sales Operations Coordinator supports sales enablement and operational execution across Sunday Afternoons' domestic wholesale channels, field sales territories, and drop ship partners. Accounts designated as branded or private-label key accounts are supported by the Key Account Coordinator. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the position manages the order-to-cash process for field sales teams, wholesale accounts, and drop ship partners, navigating the unique requirements of drop ship retail, including EDI order management, routing guides, and vendor compliance, while equipping field sales representatives with the processes, tools, and selling resources they need to grow the Sunday Afternoons brand in their territories.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The following tasks represent what the position typically performs; tasks and work priorities may change at any time, and other job duties may be assigned.

• Manages the sales order pipeline for domestic wholesale accounts, field sales territories, and drop ship partners, supporting the order-to-cash process from order entry through fulfillment and invoicing.
• Processes preseason and at-once orders for domestic accounts, ensuring accurate pricing, terms, and timely entry to position each selling season for success.
• Manages and maintains orders within the Sunday Afternoons B2B order portal (Elastic Suite), including entering and reviewing orders, updating product and pricing catalogs, and supporting field sales representatives and accounts in navigating the platform.
• Oversees drop ship order processing, including EDI order routing, inventory feed accuracy, and compliance with retailer routing guides and service-level requirements.
• Monitors drop ship performance metrics, such as fill rates, on-time shipping, and cancellations, working with the logistics team and/or third-party logistics providers to resolve fulfillment errors and prevent chargebacks.
• Coordinates domestic shipments and documentation with the Distribution Team, Inventory Team, and partners to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
• Works cross-functionally to ensure accounts and drop ship partners are invoiced accurately and remain in good standing with Sunday Afternoons AR, including researching and disputing chargebacks and deductions.
• Analyzes sales trends, sell-through, and inventory positions through effective reporting and account oversight, delivering insights that support field sales planning and territory growth.
• Maintains data hygiene and accurate records across sales systems, including account details, order status, and rep and territory assignments.
• Coordinates and processes seasonal selling material distribution, such as samples, catalogs, price lists, and digital assets, ensuring field sales representatives are equipped to sell each season effectively.
• Onboards new accounts and drop ship partners in a timely, accurate fashion, including account setup, EDI testing, pricing and terms configuration, and training on ordering processes.
• Serves as a responsive, solution-oriented point of contact for field sales representatives and accounts, providing order status, inventory availability, and account information that keeps reps focused on selling.
• Identifies opportunities to improve domestic sales and drop ship processes, workflows, and tools, and recommends improvements to the Sales Operations Manager.
• Contributes to a positive work environment through cooperative and professional interactions with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
• Maintains an orderly workflow according to priorities and assigned duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, but commensurate experience can substitute for formal education.
• Minimum Experience: At least three years of experience in sales operations, order management, customer service, or related sales support is required; experience with drop ship accounts or EDI order management is preferred.

The key responsibilities of this position are performed in a typical office environment, which has a low to moderate noise level. This position requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, frequent use of a keyboard and monitor, and regular verbal and written communication by phone, video, and email. The position occasionally requires lifting, carrying, and moving boxes of product samples, catalogs, and selling materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
