You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles in a professional and courteous manner while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. The primary goal of this position is to facilitate smooth inter-dealership vehicle transfers, ensuring customer satisfaction and optimizing inventory levels.**Duties and Responsibilities*** Safely and efficiently transport vehicles between dealership locations, ensuring the protection and integrity of the vehicles during transit* Properly load and secure vehicles onto the transport trailer or delivery truck, adhering to industry safety standards and guidelines* Maintain accurate records of all transported vehicles, including vehicle information, mileage, and condition reports* Maintain effective communication with dealership staff to coordinate vehicle pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction* Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe driving experience and protect the vehicles being transported* Conduct pre* and post-trip inspections of the transport vehicle and report any issues or damages promptly to the appropriate personnel* Interact professionally and courteously with customers and dealership personnel, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or inquiries* Handle unexpected situations such as traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns, adapting to changing circumstances to ensure on-time deliveries and pick-ups**Requirements and Qualifications*** Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, meeting the requirements set by local and national driving regulations* Previous experience in vehicle transport, delivery driving, or a related field is preferred* Ability to lift, load, and unload vehicles, as well as perform other physical tasks associated with the position* Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and safe driving practices* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and dealership personnel* Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing assigned tasks accurately and on time* Ability to accurately complete paperwork and maintain detailed records of vehicle transport* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings, to accommodate business needs and operational demands* Ability to work well within a team environment, cooperating with colleagues and contributing to a positive work atmosphere #J-18808-Ljbffr
