Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Oklahoma City, Quail Springs Culinary (QSC) includes 5 restaurant concepts that operate in 9 states with a total of 78 company owned and franchised locations.

As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they enter the establishment. Your primary objective is to manage guest flow efficiently, ensuring timely seating and minimizing wait times while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. You will coordinate with the service and kitchen teams to optimize table turnover and accommodate special requests or reservations. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and resolve any guest concerns promptly. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute significantly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the hospitality environment.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required.

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Basic computer skills for managing reservations and waitlists.

Experience using reservation and seating management software.

Knowledge of the local area and dining options to assist guests effectively.

Bilingual abilities to communicate with a diverse guest population.

Training or certification in customer service or hospitality.

Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact.

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process to ensure an organized and efficient flow.

Maintain an accurate waitlist and provide guests with estimated wait times and updates as needed.

Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to manage table availability and accommodate special requests or reservations.

Answer phone calls to take reservations, provide information about the menu or services, and address guest inquiries.

Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and entrance area.

Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setting up the host area and preparing for service.

The required skills such as strong verbal communication and customer service are essential for greeting guests warmly and managing their experience effectively. Organizational skills are used daily to maintain an accurate waitlist and coordinate seating with the service team, ensuring smooth operations.
