The success of SCC is rooted in the mission of serving the community by "focusing on academic excellence, student success, workforce advancement, and life-long learning within a global society."SCC seeks a Housekeeper who will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all college campus building interiors.HOURS: Second Shift - 3:00pm to 11:30pmESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Custodial Duties:Floor care, including wet and dry mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming; carpet care, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, and area cleaningWindow cleaningInterior cleaning including tabletops, office space areas, windowsills and other surfacesWall washingClassroom space: clean chalk/white board and deskRestrooms sanitize and restockEmpty trash containers and recyclables from assigned areasMay assist in cleaning other common areas.Other duties may be assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School graduate or equivalent preferred.Six months experience in housekeeping.Must be able to operate scrubber, buffer, and vacuum and related housekeeping equipment.St. Charles Community College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
