Security Engineer

Leveraging the Microsoft security stack, the full-time remote Security Engineer will triage alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and enhance the organization's security posture through vulnerability management and identity access controls. Key responsibilities Administer and optimize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Sentinel, participating in full-lifecycle incident response Conduct enterprise vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation efforts across teams to ensure secure configurations Support the implementation and maintenance of identity controls, partnering with various teams to improve security standards Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or security engineering Proven experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and SIEM platforms like Microsoft Sentinel Strong familiarity with Azure or other major cloud platforms, along with scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or KQL) Demonstrated track record of conducting security investigations and incident response activities Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with at least one relevant certification preferred
