Plus Shift DifferentialCategory/Shift: Hourly Full-Time2nd Shift (2:20pm-10:50pm – Monday-Friday)Physical Location: Fort Worth Custom Packaging and Retail2400 Shamrock AvenueFort Worth, TX 76107(817) 820-8543The Job You Will Perform:Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner following indicated work methodsObserves and monitors machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are neededIdentify, troubleshoot, and correct product defects caused by the machinePerforms routine adjustments during the machine run, maintain production throughout the runSets up and operate machine meeting established published specificationsEnsures all orders are completed to specifications including "special instructions" if applicableIdentifies and makes basic repairs to the machineResponsible for the operation of the Die Cutter and related equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements according to operation standardsRuns the machine meeting production goalsMaintains housekeeping all the timeComply with all IPs Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all timesSupports training of other assistant operators and others as neededConduct operations in a manner that promotes safetyMaintains a clean, neat, and orderly work areaKeep appropriate records, reports (complete forms, logs, and records accurately as required)Other duties as assigned by managers and or supervisor/shift leaderThe Skills You Will Bring:Ability to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to perform basic arithmeticAbility to read a measuring tape and rulerAbility to read manufacturing ordersKnowledge of reading, adjusting, and recording PH, viscosity charts & caliperWarehouse and/or manufacturing experienceBasic knowledge of printing processResponsible and self-motivatedStable and verifiable work history
