Job Description

Client is looking for a Business Analyst II with strengths in software development and business process re-engineering. The BA is responsible for the set tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholder in order to understand the structure, policies, and operation of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals including: identification and analysis of potential source systems. Conducting gap analysis of exiting management systems to propose replacement systems - assisting with identification and documentation of business requirements - defining application requirement and creating data definitions and business rules for multiple systems. This position requires strong experience with software development lifecycle; excellent communication both verbal and written including making presentations of developed training materials to user groups. This contractor will be conducting training as we implement the system through the end of the year and assisting with business analysis when they are not conducting training. So, in addition to strong business analysis skills (e.g., requirements gathering/documentation and testing) we are looking for someone with excellent communication/presentation skills.

Skills Required:

• 3 years - Experience in conducting hands-on, presentation only, and/or remote end-user system training
• 3 years - Experience in preparing end-user training materials including lesson plans and presentations
• 3 years - Experience in evaluating and making improvements to training materials and course content based on user feedback and observations
• 3 years - Experience recommending system changes based on user feedback and observations
• 3 years - Experience in preparing end-user system documentation
• 6 years - Experience with MS Visio
• 5 years - Experience with MS Office/PowerPoint
• 5 years - Experience with user interface design including storyboards, wireframes and mockups

Experience Required:

• 7 years - BA experience
• 7 years - Requirement gathering and documentations
• 7 years - Experience making presentations to stakeholder
• 7 years - Business process re-engineering experience
• 7 years - Experience leading JAD Sessions
• 7 years - Software Development Lifecycle
• 5 years - Training experience

Education Required:

• 4 years college degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
