Job Title: CT Scan Tech / Radiology (R) - Days

Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, and C-arm procedures
• Proficient in routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures
• Handle surgical/sterile procedures and studies with or without contrast media

Requirements:

• CT certified
• ARRT certified
• FL Rad Tech license
• BLS certification
• Experience with Toshiba/Canon Aquilion CT equipment preferred
