US Assistant Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner
This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development, Asst Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner, Office of Housing, Deputy Assistant Security for Single-Family Housing, Single-Family Homeownership Center (HOC). This opportunity is open to Status Candidates under Announcement 26-HUD-12941562. Please refer to that announcement for details on open period, eligibility, and how to apply. Specialized Experience For the GS-12 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience completing FHA Appraisals; Experience completing reviews of Single‑Family property appraisals; Experience providing technical assistance and policy guidance on appraisal related issues; Experience analyzing and resolving appraisal valuation issues and assessing related collateral risk. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full‑time work; part‑time work is considered on a prorated basis. Licensing In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must have a State Certified Residential Appraiser License OR a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License. You must submit a copy of your current state license and certification to be considered. Failure to submit this required documentation will result in loss of consideration for this position.
