Quality Assurance Electrical Engineer

Seeking a Quality Assurance Electrical Engineer for a full-time contract position in Pasadena, CA, who will manage the review of electrical design drawings, ensure compliance with relevant codes, and provide quality assurance feedback to support optimal laboratory operations. Key responsibilities: Review electrical design drawings and specifications for compliance with applicable codes and standards Provide actionable QA/QC comments and technical feedback to designers and consultants using Bluebeam Participate in technical meetings and internal design reviews, guiding code interpretation and design issues Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline with a minimum of 6 years of related experience Experience in QA/QC and design review of moderately complex building or facilities projects Strong knowledge of electrical building systems and applicable codes Proficiency with Bluebeam and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications Ability to read and evaluate construction drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations
