Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Current and valid license as a Physical Therapist
• Previous school-based experience as a PT is preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in documentation and progress reporting systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans to support student mobility, access, and participation in school activities
• Consult with teachers and school staff on adaptive strategies and accommodations
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Take part in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Collaborate with district teams from neighboring areas to ensure seamless care
