PRN Speech-Language Pathologist

DescriptionSkilled Nursing Facility Now seeking a Speech TherapistPRN rate $60/hrResponsibilities/duties:Speech therapist (SLP) will work collaboratively with the therapy teams and Rehab DepartmentComplete evaluations and all necessary documentationProvide recommendations supporting communications/assessmentsProvide speech therapy as outlined in treatment plans and prescriptionsOffer treatments that help improve patient's speech and/or dysphagia and overall ability to communicateIndependently manage workflow which includes allotting time for treatment documentation of individual and group treatments and notes in the electronic records system Familiar with PDPMAlign therapy treatments and plans with understanding of Medicaid and Medicare billingQualifications:New Jersey SLP LicenseBackground/experience in long term care (specifically a Skilled Nursing Facility)Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage patients with different types of personalities and ability levelsCreative problem solving skillsWe offer:Great environment with supportive management teamCompetitive pay and generous benefitsCareer advancement opportunityBenefitsMedical, Vision and Dental InsurancePTOAbout Berkshire Post AcuteWorking at Berkshire truly means becoming a member of our family.
