2nd Shift CNC Operator

The 2nd Shift CNC Operator position will involve operating CNC machines, following standards, and working fully on site in Lake Zurich, IL. Hourly Pay Range $20 – $30 per hour Work Schedule 2nd Shift: 4:00 pm – 2:30 am, Monday–Thursday Pay Schedule Weekly Responsibilities Basic operation of CNC equipment (load material, start cycles, unload material). Stack/unload product per instructions and other material handling as required. Change inserts within 6 months as needed. Make offsets within 3 months as required. Communicate effectively with co‑workers and management. Enter production quantities accurately in the ERP system. Input job data per MBP MMS requirements accurately. Measure parts according to inspection requirements using various gaging and metrology equipment. Participate in any team activity as needed. Act as a reliable “go‑to” person for work completion. Qualifications 1–4 years of experience required. Prior manufacturing experience in a job shop preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of ferrous and/or non‑ferrous materials. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of basic mathematics. Basic blueprint reading. Basic understanding of GD&T. Proper measuring techniques with a variety of gauges. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”), and the ability to access and handle ITAR Technical Data as defined by 22 CFR 120.15.
