PT - Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist - Orthopedics and Geriatrics

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8.0 schedule with 8-hour shifts.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegating and directing therapy services for assigned patients to ensure effective return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.

Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals aimed at progressing patients toward discharge.

Document patient care clearly, accurately, and timely, adhering to state and federal guidelines.

Ensure patient care is delivered under signed physician orders and with insurance approval.

Participate in providing a positive learning environment for students.

Actively pursue ongoing professional development and maintain licensure in good standing.

Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.

1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.

Current CPR Certification.

Active and applicable state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Previous successful assignments with the agency are preferred but not required.
