Registered Respiratory Therapist II

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings. Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate patient care, education, and support to patients and their families. Perform complex procedures such as ventilator management, airway management, arterial blood gas analysis, and pulmonary diagnostics. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure patient safety through accurate documentation, medication safety, and adherence to quality standards. Mentor and precept new staff and students, fostering a collaborative team environment. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred). Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Prof, BLS, and ACLS required upon hire. 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
