Payroll Accountant

Process and manage payroll accurately and on schedule for a large, global employee population Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll tax regulations Prepare and review payroll-related journal entries and support general ledger (GL) close processes Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting Partner with HR and Finance to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with internal policies Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the payroll function Qualifications Required: 2+ years of payroll experience in a corporate or professional services environment Strong working knowledge of payroll tax — multi-state experience is required Exposure to general ledger, journal entries, or payroll-related accounting Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage competing priorities in a large team setting Preferred: Experience with ADP and/or Workday International or global payroll exposure Background that blends payroll with broader accounting, tax, or GL responsibilities Pay: $28–$34/hour (contract); conversion salary $80,000–$100,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr Turn2Partners
