Job Title: Analytical Chemist Job Number: 37449 Location: Morgantown, WV Job Description We are seeking a highly-motivated Analytical Chemist to join our R&D group. This individual will work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary research team to develop high throughput purification processes for our pipeline therapeutics focusing on seperation science Responsibilities Develop analytical methods such as UPLC for the analysis of peptides Optimize sample loading, column, gradient and other parameters to achieve the most efficient purification of peptides Develop automation capability for the purification process Perform purification using LC-MS systems and develop fraction pooling strategies Analyze samples using UPLC, MS, and other techniques Maintain analytical and purification instruments Write technical reports and study summaries Work productively in a team environment and independently and deliver against timelines. Required Skills Bachelors/Masters degree in related field of study, industry experience in the purification method development of pharmaceuticals desired Comprehensive knowledge and technical expertise in chromatographic separation and HPLC analysis Strong experience in mass-directed purification with automated LC-MS systems Hands on experience in HPLC trouble shooting and maintenance Experience with UPLC-MS systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a pro‑active mentality Highly organized with strong attention to details Must be able to work in a team and collaborative environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
