Duties
Help
Enforces DOD, Army, and local installation regulations and organizational policy as pertains to local postal service.
Assesses requisitions submitted through pinpoint distribution accounts that are above authorized allowance limits and approve or denies them based on established criteria.
Establishes messenger delivery schedules for accurate pickup and delivery of unclassified mail distribution and printed matter for supported activities.
Analyzes and compiles statistical data on postal expenditures, including metered mail, mail classes, permit fees, express deliveries, private carrier usage, and penalty mail stamps.
Investigates complaints of inadequate mail service to initiate actions to improve service when justified.
Serve as point of contact on the installation for answering questions and resolving problems presented by clerical personnel of general and special staff offices.
Utilizes a computer terminal with word processing and database management software programs to produce textual materials and handle data such as reports.
