In this role, you will support the Activities Director in delivering engaging programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. You’ll help create a positive, interactive environment that promotes socialization, independence, and overall well-being.**Key Responsibilities:*** Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily activity programs* Encourage resident participation in group and one-on-one activities* Set up and clean up for activities and events* Support special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings* Transport residents to and from activities as needed* Maintain activity supplies and ensure materials are organized* Document resident participation per facility and regulatory guidelines* Build strong, supportive relationships with residents, families, and staff**Qualifications:*** Previous experience in activities, recreation, or a healthcare setting preferred* Friendly, patient, and engaging demeanor* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work effectively as part of a team* Organized with attention to detail* High school diploma or equivalent required**Benefits:*** Competitive hourly wage* Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees)* Paid time off and holiday pay* Opportunities for career growth and advancement* Supportive and team-oriented work environment**How to Apply:** Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting a resume or completing an application in person at Diablo Valley Post Acute.Diablo Valley Post Acute is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.We are an equal opportunity employer.
