Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Middletown, OH offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Solo Miles Pay: $0.62 per Mile with 2000 - 3000 Miles per Week

Solo Stops Pay: $50.00 per Stop with 8 to 10 stops per week

Per Diem Pay: $45.00 per night with up to 3 nights per Week

$35 detention pay, $37.00 drop/hook at wash pay - 5 per week.

Endorsements: Hazmat & Tanker REQUIRED; Must have Tanker experience and Hazmat at time of interview.

Tractor Type: Sleeper; Manual Transmission

Sign on Bonus: Pays you $3000; $1500 at 30 days, $1500 at 90 days

Safety Bonus: Pays You $4500; $1500 at 3 months, $1500 at 6 months and $1500 at 9 months

Paid Training

Schedule: Monday Friday; Rotating Sunday Dispatch 2xs/Month

Start Time: 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM

Deliver SOLO to: OH, MI, IN, PA, WV, MS, AL, GA, IL, TN, AR, SC, NC, KY

Route: Regional w/2 - 3 layovers per week

Trailer Type: Liquid Tanker Trailer

Cannot accept automatic restriction

Freight: No Touch Driver will connect hoses and pressurize trailer w/assistance

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Performs other duties as assigned
