Description Job Title: People & Culture Recruiter- Behavioral Health Department: People & Culture Reports to: Director of People & Culture Job Type: Full Time, Salary, Exempt Job Location: Chicago, IL. Local travel as needed. Position Description – What the Role Entails: The People & Culture Recruiter – Behavioral Health is responsible for leading recruitment efforts for Behavioral Health positions across the organization. This position develops and maintains a strong candidate pipeline, partners with hiring managers, and supports a positive and efficient recruitment and onboarding experience. The recruiter must be able to travel to attend job fairs and other events, and build relationships with universities and external stakeholders. Company Culture - Do Our Values Speak to You? Areas of Accountability - What you will be doing: Lead full-cycle recruitment for Behavioral Health positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating selections. Develop and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill Behavioral Health positions. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recruitment priorities. Post and maintain job openings through Paylocity, Indeed, and other appropriate recruitment platforms. Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Assist with background checks, employment verification, and pre-employment requirements. Ensure recruitment activities are completed timely and in accordance with organizational policies and applicable requirements. Track vacancies, recruitment activity, time-to-fill, and other recruitment metrics. Participate in job fairs, career events, community outreach, and other recruitment initiatives. Provide a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Support onboarding activities and transition selected candidates to the onboarding process. Provide recruitment support to all three organizations and assist the People & Culture team with other HR-related matters as needed. Develops and maintains relationships with universities and external stakeholders. Maintains consistent communication with candidates and stakeholders throughout the hiring process. All other duties as assigned. Behavioral Health Focus Recruit for Behavioral Health positions, including Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP), therapists, social workers, case managers, direct service staff, and other clinical and program positions. Develop recruitment strategies specifically targeted to Behavioral Health professionals. Build relationships with colleges, universities, professional organizations, and community partners to strengthen the Behavioral Health talent pipeline. Maintain knowledge of Behavioral Health as needed for recruitment. The recruiter must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, including a copier and printer. Schedule: 8-hour day, 1-hour unpaid lunch Monday to Friday, some evenings and weekends to attend job fairs and events as needed. Position Qualifications – What is required to Perform the Role: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred. 2+ years of recruitment or Human Resources experience preferred. Experience recruiting for Behavioral Health, healthcare, social services, or nonprofit organizations preferred. Strong communication, organization, interviewing, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms preferred.
