Secondary Operator - Second Shift - KD

A manufacturing company is seeking an individual to operate secondary machines after set-up has been completed. This is a second shift opportunity working 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Job Duties:

• Complete training and understand that all inspections including in-process inspection check sheets must be completed on time
• Tend to machines, inspect parts, shut off machine, and enter results in computer system
• Attempt common troubleshooting, machine adjustments, maintain lubrication system, and perform minor daily maintenance
• Read blueprints
• Meet engineering standards for quality, productivity, and tool usage, be familiar with IS09001/IATF16949 procedures, understand and comply with bin procedures, and costs relative to scrap
• Maintain work area and machine clean and safe
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must have a High school Diploma or GED
• Must have a mechanical aptitude
• Must be familiar with out-of-control conditions and responses
• Must be able to identify potential problems by reviewing progressions
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must have knowledge of the lock out/tag out procedure and plant and environmental safety concepts
• Must have a strong work ethic and a positive team environment
