Director of Case Management — Registered Nurse (RN)A leading Healthcare facility in Mayfield, KY is seeking a senior-level Director of Case Management to lead its case management function. In this key leadership role, you will oversee and direct the hospital's case management department, ensuring effective coordination of patient care, utilization management, discharge planning, and operational excellence.This position requires a combination of strong clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated experience managing case management operations within a healthcare setting.Departmental Leadership: Oversee daily case management operations, driving clinical care coordination, utilization review, and discharge planning.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and clinical standards aligned with organizational requirements.Quality & Performance: Direct and evaluate departmental processes—including patient care delivery, service levels, and complaint management—to achieve quality control standards.Team Management: Direct staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluations, ongoing training, and professional development.Fiscal Responsibility: Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding, and coordinate internal and external audits.Evidence-Based Practice: Foster a supportive environment for staff growth while integrating evidence-based practices into clinical protocols and workflows.Must-Haves:Licensure: Active license as a Registered Nurse (RN).Experience: Direct Case Management experience within a healthcare environment.Certification: ACMA (Accredited Case Manager) Certification required (or must be obtained within 2 years of hire).Preferred:Leadership: Prior leadership/management experience within a Case Management department.In addition to a competitive salary range of $95,000 – $125,000, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package:Relocation Support: Partial relocation assistance available for qualified out-of-area candidates.Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage options, along with mental health services and virtual care appointments.Financial Security & PTO: Life, disability, and critical illness insurance options, paid family leave, and generous Paid Time Off (PTO).Retirement & Loan Programs: 401(k) retirement savings program with match, plus higher education tuition assistance and student loan support.Career Growth: Ongoing professional development and leadership advancement opportunities.
