This hospital is seeking an interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings in Davenport, Florida. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the resources necessary to support 24-hour STEMI call coverage on an on-site basis. Full-time APP support is integrated into the clinical operations to assist with rounding and patient management. The facility is structured to accommodate sporadic locum tenens coverage for holiday and vacation periods.

Davenport, Florida offers clinicians on assignment a range of recreational and leisure activities suited to varied interests. The area provides access to outdoor activities at several golf courses, including ChampionsGate Golf Club, Highland Reserve Golf Club, and Providence Golf Club, as well as waterway experiences such as kayaking and pontoon boat tours. Family-oriented destinations include Meadows Petting Farm and The Grove Resort and Water Park, while Northeast Regional Park and a beach near Bahama Bay offer additional outdoor options. Day trips to Clearwater Beach and Kennedy Space Center are accessible from the area, providing further opportunities for exploration during time off.

The interventional cardiologist will provide 24-hour STEMI call coverage structured on a Monday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM schedule, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities at this on-site facility in Davenport, Florida. Clinical duties include on-site rounding, consultations, and interventional cardiology procedures as credentialed by the facility. Full-time APP support is available to assist the assigned clinician throughout the coverage period. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain on-site availability for all STEMI activations and related cardiac cases during each designated shift. Coverage is needed on a sporadic basis to address holiday and vacation scheduling needs throughout 2026. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required for consideration.
