Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center, requiring 3+ years of experience and Siemens MRI system proficiency.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting within a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center with 1,500+ staffed beds
• MRI department with a focus on diagnostic imaging
• 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working Saturday, Sunday, and one additional weekday
• 36 hours per week
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Parking available for approximately $125/month

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
• Experience in a large trauma center setting required
• Current ARRT (MR) certification required
• Current BLS required
• Active or pending state license accepted — license required if applicable
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• RTO of up to 7 days may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval; block scheduling is not available
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions are considered
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as directed by the facility
• Teal scrubs required
