Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Neuro PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Care for up to six medical-surgical patients specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
• Float frequently to meet staffing needs while maintaining care standards.
• Provide care to a mixed acuity unit, including Medical Surgical/Telemetry & Stepdown.
• Administer drips such as Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin on all floors.
• Utilize EPIC charting to document patient care accurately.
• Support interdisciplinary teams, including CNAs, LPNs, and care techs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital required.
• Must have experience in Level I Trauma centers.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• Must be nicotine-free to comply with facility policies.
• Pending Nebraska RN State License is accepted, but must be obtained before starting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and CPI are required.
