Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU registered nurse to provide advanced critical care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves delivering specialized patient care and supporting medical teams in managing critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor high-acuity patients to identify urgent needs and respond effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient conditions, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including compliance with all required certifications and background checks.

Qualifications:

• Valid state RN license with ICU experience of at least one year.
• Current AHA certifications, including BLS and ACLS, prior to start.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to float within the hospital as needed and work varied shifts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to complete necessary compliance steps within designated timelines.
