Diablo in the background, will be hosting legendary musical acts such as Steely Dan, Tears for Fears, Chicago, Brian Wilson, Santana, Earth, Wind & Fire and many more in the 2024 season.Passionate about live music? Legends Hospitality, Concorde Pavilion's food and beverage concessionaire, may have an opportunity right for you.The Role Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. Help keep assigned areas clean and organized. Responsibilities include:Utilize high quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs and spices to create sensational drinks for guestsGreet guests, take beverage orders from the restaurant servers or directly from guestsMix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standardsMaintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beveragesProvide information on wine characteristics, evaluate guests needs, make appropriate suggestions and serve wine using proper wine service techniquesWork with culinary team to create mixers and garnishes for beveragesCheck identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcoholKeep track of inventory on stand sheetsHandle an assigned bank and follow all cash handling proceduresCollect payment for drinks served and balance all receiptsEnsure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish suppliesServe food items to guests seated at the barDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotionsMaintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. as neededKeep work area clean and organizedOrganize Catering Storage AreasAttend mandatory meetingsPerform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standardsComplete other duties as assigned by supervisorQualifications:Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including: mornings, nights, weekends and holidaysExperience as a bartender for at least two years preferredExtensive knowledge of drink recipesKnow how to create and execute one of a kind drinksMust be able to create and serve drinks in a timely mannerExtensive knowledge of winesMust maintain personal hygiene and a well groomed appearance standardsAbility to work independently or in a team during set up and execution of serviceWillingness and drive to exceed the guest expectationsAbility to effectively listen and take direction from supervisorMust have excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.Must be personable, friendly and welcomingAbility to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guestsAbility to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu itemsAbility to transport up to 50 lbs on a continuous basisMust have a working email to communicate with your managersMust have your Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) certificate and food handlers' certificate.Starting pay $16.50/HRPractice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
