The Paver Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the concrete paver, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the paving process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paving operations, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.What You'll DoOperate the concrete paver safely and efficiently throughout the project.Monitor paving operations to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.Recognize and respond to hazardous conditions to maintain a safe work environment.Follow all company and general safety rules, policies, and guidelines.Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs or mechanical issues.Communicate effectively with the paving crew, foreman, and project supervisors.Maintain awareness of site activity and adjust operations as needed for safety and efficiency.Perform duties that may involve extended periods of sitting, walking, or standing.Perform additional labor-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.This job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
