Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced CDL Class A Company Driver to join our growing fleet. The ideal candidate will have verifiable commercial driving experience and a strong work ethic. Depending on our current lanes and your preferences, we offer local, regional, and long-haul (OTR) configurations utilizing various specialized equipment types.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A) to transport freight across designated routes.
• Secure and monitor diverse cargo types according to trailer specifications (e.g., flatbed strapping/chaining, managing temperature controls on reefers, or handling liquid transport in asphalt tankers).
• Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking tires, brakes, lights, fluid levels, etc.) to ensure absolute roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD), trip reports, fuel receipts, and delivery paperwork in strict compliance with FMCSA and DOT guidelines.
• Provide professional customer service during drop-offs and pickups; communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or mechanical issues.
• Utilize provided company tools, fuel cards, and safety equipment responsibly.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• Experience: Must have verifiable Class A CDL commercial driving experience (Required).
• License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record.
• Endorsements: Tanker (N) or Hazmat (H/X) endorsements are a major plus (highly preferred due to our asphalt tanker operations) but not required.
• Health: Must possess a current and valid DOT Medical Card and be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check.
• Skills: Strong physical ability to handle equipment, climb in/out of cabs, and handle load-securement tools if operating flatbed/step-deck equipment.
