Eligibility Criteria for the Registered Dental Hygienist Role:

• Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Hold an up-to-date CPR certification
• Have experience with nitrous oxide administration
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to oral health and patient well-being

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH):

• Educate patients on dental hygiene practices, including tooth care and nutrition
• Perform scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar buildup
• Take dental impressions and/or radiographs as needed
• Apply preventive treatments such as antibacterial agents, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to reduce the risk of cavities
• Conduct screening and monitoring assessments
