Once a recruitment has closed, applications will no longer be accepted.If you are unable to attach the required documents to your online application or need assistance regarding the application process, please contact the Talent Acquisition team within Human Resources via email at View email address on click.appcast.io or call View phone number on click.appcast.io to be directed to the appropriate Recruiter.**Job Description****Core Responsibilities:*** Teaching college-level courses in the field of American Sign Language and Deafness.* Develop syllabi and course materials.* Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.* Provide and excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.* Courses taught at multiple campuses in Clark County.* Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.**Required Qualifications:*** BA from a regionally accredited college or university. Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Deafness related field) from a regionally accredited College or University.* Documented and demonstrated American Sign Language competencies at an advanced level.* Experience teaching in ASL.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Master’s Degree.* Experience working with interactive language laboratories.* ASTLA certification (American Sign Language Teachers Association).* RID interpreter certification (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf).**Salary**$925.00 per credit for lecture per semester.
