You ensure that materials and finished products meet engineering, quality, and regulatory requirements before they move forward. Working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams, you help maintain a strong quality culture while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.What You'll DoPerform incoming, in?process, and final inspections using visual, dimensional, and electrical methodsSet up, operate, and troubleshoot inspection and test equipmentInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and workmanship standardsIdentify, document, and report nonconforming materialRecord inspection results accurately in enterprise resource planning and quality systemsSupport nonconformance and corrective action activitiesVerify calibration and proper condition of inspection equipmentSupport final product release, including packaging and documentation checksParticipate in audits and continuous improvement initiativesProvide guidance and training to less experienced quality inspectorsWhat You NeedStrong inspection, analytical, and problem?solving skills – requiredAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications – requiredExperience using inspection tools (microscopes, multimeters, calipers, gauges) – requiredQuality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (2–5 years) – requiredExperience with ERP or quality management systems – preferredIPC certifications (J?STD?001, IPC/WHMA?A?620) – preferredAerospace or defense inspection experience, including First Article Inspection – a plusHigh school diploma or GED – required; technical or vocational training – preferredOther QualificationsMust hold U.S. Person status for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.Target pay range: $19.00-$22.00 per hourThis position is 100% onsite in Dallas, TX.Core hours are 6am-2:45pm Monday-Friday with availability for overtime Monday through Saturday.Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
