- No WC experience required; we'll train you on California workers' compensation law and procedure from day one.
- Direct mentorship from firm partners on live cases, not just shadowing.
- Fast track to running hearings, depositions, and cross-examinations yourself.
- Settlement incentive bonus on top of base salary from the start.
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, depositions, cross-examinations, and settlement negotiations (with mentorship support).
- Prepare and file legal documents; review medical/legal records to build cases.
- Communicate directly with clients, insurers, and medical providers.
- Work alongside case managers and legal assistants who support your caseload administratively.
- Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain compliance with firm policy, ethical standards, and CA WC regulations.
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active member, California State Bar, in good standing
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Any exposure to CA workers' compensation law (internship, clerkship, etc.) — not required
- Comfort with legal case management software; Apple/Mac environments
- Bilingual English/Spanish
