Automation Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support our foreman in the field. The Field Automation Technician is an entry level position responsible for installing and troubleshooting automation equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Construct Electrical Panels with the help of Electrical Schematics and Panel Layout Drawings Machine Electrical Enclosures and Panels with the help of power tools and milling machine Layout, Cut and Machine Aluminum Extrusion in order to install safety guarding for Machines Perform Electrical and Pneumatic hookups and route necessary wires and hoses Create parts drawings and update electrical drawings as needed Design and construct small part holding fixtures and machine components as needed QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: High school degree or equivalent Basic oral and written communication skills 2 years relevant work experience preferred Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools Electrical, pneumatic, or IT networking experience a plus Machining experience helpful Experience with automation machinery preferred Must be self-motivated and be able to work in a fast paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
