Job Overview:
\nProvides clinical care in both ambulatory and inpatient setting supporting wound care management, coordination with surgical team and surgical procedure support,
\n\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Wound Management & Procedures \n
- Perform debridement of wounds in the OR and at the bedside \n
- Apply negative pressure wound therapy; wound vac \n
Inpatient Rounding:
\n- \n
- Conduct daily rounds on wound consults and follow up on established inpatients \n
- Optimize wound care treatment plans for potential OR debridement \n
Surgical Coordination & Collaboration:
\n- \n
- Work closely with the supervising physician and an additional NP \n
- Manage a shared patient load of approximately 15 patients per day \n
Schedule & Work Environment:
\n- \n
- Work Hours: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM \n
- On-Call Responsibilities: None, \n
- Support Staff: Collaborate with a supervising MD and another NP, \n
- EMR System: EPIC \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant \n
- Experience in wound care and general surgery preferred \n
- Strong teamwork and communication skills \n
Required (APN/NP):

- Current APN Certification \n
- Current RN NJ state license \n
- CDS \n
- DEA \n
- Current BLS and ACLS \n
Required (Physician Assistant):
\n- \n
- Current Physician Assistant Certification \n
- CDS \n
- DEA \n
- Current BLS and ACLS \n
Preferred:
\n- \n
- 1+ years of experience in advanced wound care highly preferred \n
- Wound Care Certification (CWS, WCC, WOCN) is a plus \n
