About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients, including couplet care, with patient ratios of 1:2, 1:1, and 1:3 couplets
• Manage and monitor high-risk OB patients within established clinical protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage as required by unit scheduling needs
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Administer and manage medications utilizing the Omnicell medication system
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as directed, including during hurricane season (June through November)

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN Beginner and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• FHM and NRP certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
• STABLE certification preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Scrubs are provided by the facility, and parking is available at no cost
• Candidates with a pending SC license will be considered at time of submission, providing flexibility during the licensure process
