We are seeking a Skilled Carpenter to join our team. Crawford Restoration mostly works in the Fire and Water Restorations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to perform various tasks related to building and restoring structures. This position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Demo/Tear out parts of a structure that are wet or burned
• Perform metal & wood stud framing for walls and ceilings.
• Assemble various components of buildings and structures.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
• Hang doors accurately ensuring they are plumb and properly aligned.
• Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps for improved insulation and aesthetics.
• Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Skilled carpenter in construction settings.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry work.
• Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with masonry techniques is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
