Job Title: SAP PP Onshore Lead 

Location: Avon Lake, OH (On-site) 

Employment Type: Contract (on ZipStaff W2 | non C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity: 

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced SAP PP Onshore Lead to lead the Production Planning workstream on a major SAP S/4HANA manufacturing initiative.

In this role, you will drive business process alignment, fit-to-standard adoption, testing, training, cutover readiness, and hypercare support. You will serve as the primary onshore point of contact for business stakeholders while collaborating closely with offshore delivery teams.

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead the SAP PP workstream across all project phases.
• Conduct workshops to gather and validate business requirements.
• Drive adoption of SAP standard processes and best practices.

• Provide deep functional expertise across:

  • Demand Management.
  • MRP.
  • Production Planning.
  • Capacity Planning.
  • Production Order Processing.
  • Shop Floor Control.
  • Batch Management.
  • Process and/or Discrete Manufacturing.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business users and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirement discussions, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs.
• Lead FUT, SIT, and UAT activities for the PP stream; review test scenarios and support defect resolution.
• Coordinate with MM, QM, WM/EWM, SD, and FICO teams for end-to-end process validation.
• Support migration of PP master and transactional data; validate converted data and support reconciliation.
• Lead PP cutover planning, mock cutovers, and go-live readiness assessments.
• Conduct end-user and key-user training sessions and support business readiness.
• Provide post-go-live hypercare and issue resolution support.
• Manage workstream risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
• Provide regular status updates and ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications: 

• 8+ years of SAP PP experience , including:

  • At least 4–5 years of strong hands-on PP configuration and support.
  • 2+ years of leadership / workstream lead experience (workshops, testing, cutover, hypercare).
• Strong expertise in MRP, Demand Planning, Production Orders, Shop Floor Execution, Capacity Planning, and Batch Management.
• Experience with Process Manufacturing and/or Discrete Manufacturing.
• SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing experience (strongly preferred / required).
• Proven experience leading testing (FUT / SIT / UAT), data migration, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Avon Lake, OH.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of MM, QM, WM/EWM, and FICO integration points.
• Experience with global manufacturing rollouts or large-scale S/4HANA migration projects.
• SAP PP Certification.
