Accounts Payable Clerk I

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk I / FD Biller Location: Woodridge, IL 60517 Duration: 5 months Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm Interview- In Person Dress Code: Business Casual Job Summary: Oversees the timely processing of invoices that are received from vendors for factory-direct orders. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years in Accounts Payable or related field.
- Computer literate, experience in writing business correspondence, and the ability to problem solve, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous SAP and previous experience working in a foodservice and/or distribution environment.
- Audit factory direct invoices for correct cost.
- Calculate freight in factory direct invoices.
- Research Sales Departmentt inquiries on FD invoices and freight rates.
- Process FD invoices into the Accounts Payable System.
- Escalate issues beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
